(WTNH) — It’s Friday and if you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, we’ve got you covered. We’ve got some ideas that are fun for the entire family – and some of them are free.

If you’re going to be in Milford on Saturday, head to Jonathan Law High School. Peace, Love & Music from Maren celebrates the life of Maren Sanchez. Run in the 5K, then check out the kickball competition and live music. There will be inflatables for the kids too. It starts at 9 a.m.

Where can you see 20,000 rubber ducks get dumped into a river? At the Pawcatuck River Duck Race, of course! It starts at 11:30 on Saturday morning at Donahue Park. There will be games and rides for the kids, and it raises money for more than 40 local charities.

If you’d like to celebrate spring this weekend, head to the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford. At Fine Art & Flowers you’ll see dozens of floral designs throughout the museum’s galleries. Learn about floral arranging or try some floral tea. It starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

This Saturday is Public Safety Day in the Westfield Trumbull mall parking lot. It’s a family-friendly event where you’ll see police cars, ambulances and fire trucks up close. Swing by on Saturday at 11 a.m. Meet meteorologist Sam Kantrow and check out the Mobile Weather Lab. And it’s free.

Get your bike ready – the Rock to Rock Earth Day Bike Ride is this Saturday in New Haven. Enjoy parks and scenic streets as well as the spring weather. Head to Common Ground High School at 8 a.m. There are rides of all different lengths, and the ride raises money for local groups that work to make the community greener and healthier.

You know it is spring when the daffodils are in bloom – and you’ll see more than 600,000 of them this weekend at the Meriden Daffodil Festival. The flowers aren’t all you’ll see. Check out the parade, fireworks and live music, or go on a carnival ride. It’s at Hubbard Park, and the festivities start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

If you’d like something action packed this weekend, head to Calf Pasture Beach Road in Norwalk on Sunday. The Norwalk Karting Association’s fundraising race starts at noon. Watch local firefighters and police officers go head to head in the karts and check out the car show. The money raised will go to charity.

Spring is a great time to go on a bird walk. If you’d like to do that this weekend, head to Madison on Saturday morning. Meet at The Audubon Shop at 7:50 a.m. You may see ducks, songbirds, or birds of prey. Don’t forget your camera!
