NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) – The heroin epidemic is continuing in Connecticut, but police had a small victory in New London on Friday.
The New London Police Department’s Narcotics officers and the Connecticut State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force did a drug sweep. They arrested four people on narcotics related charges.
Luis Quiles, 24, of New London, Paul Concordia, 21, of Waterford, Kacey Byington, 22, and Troy Linsley, 43, of Groton were all arrested on Friday afternoon.
Police also seized about 60 grams of heroin. Some of it was packaged for sale.
