NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A New Haven bar destroyed by a fire last month is hoping to continue rebuilding and be back up and running by Christmas if enough money is raised at a fundraiser on Sunday.
Trinity Bar, an Irish pub on Orange Street, was completely destroyed back on Sept. 1 after a fire ripped through the entire building.

Four families were displaced and 17 workers were out of a job because of the blaze. The cause of it all is still under investigation.
The New Haven Register reports the fundraiser for the Irish pub is taking place Sunday in Temple Place from 12 noon until 8 p.m. Their goal is to raise $10,000.
