GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and people are getting in the mood by flocking to Guilford. They’re headed to Gozzi’s Turkey Farm, which is known for its rainbow colored flock of turkeys. The birds are led to a pen early in the morning where they can be seen from the street. Folks can then stop by to see them. It has become a tradition on the farm, where they’ve been dying turkeys since the early 1940s. It has also become a tradition for the families who enjoy seeing them.

“Kids and families get a lot of enjoyment out of this,” said Bill Gozzi, the farm’s owner. “We get thousands of people that come here and it’s just nice to see.”

If you’d like to stop by and see the brightly colored turkeys there’s still time. They’ll be out until Christmas.
